DIY Avocado Face Mask

When you get home from a long day of work, and it’s too late to head to the salon for a facial, what do you do? Your skin is screaming for some nourishment and some TLC, but everything is closed! Never fear! This DIY avocado face mask will have your skin nourished and feeling supple and smooth. And the best part? You only need 3 ingredients, and they are all things you have right in your kitchen!

Hydrating Face Mask

What you’ll need:

  • Avocado (gives your skin excellent hydration)

  • Honey (is anti-inflammatory so your skin doesn’t flare up)

  • Cocoa Powder (natural and soothing antioxidant)

Grab your avocado. You’ll only need 1/4 of it, so you can use the rest later. Take your 1/4 and mash it up in a small bowl. Next, get 1 TBSP cocoa powder and 1 TBSP honey and stir them both into the mashed avocado (you may need to mash a little more but that’s okay).

Next, make sure your skin is clean and dry (remove all makeup before applying). Apply the mixture all over your face and leave on for 10 minutes. Then rinse and moisturize as usual!

That’s it! Easy right?! Such a fun and easy way to pamper your skin either alone or with your girlfriends!
